AA Rosette · Head Chef
Craig Cowley was the first chef in Devon to be awarded a coveted AA Rosette, and as Head Chef has worked in many award-winning restaurants — from classic pub food to fine dining.
He has held Head Chef positions at the multi-award-winning Cott Inn at Dartington, and more recently as Executive Head Chef at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. He has been honoured to cook for Royalty and various dignitaries.
Now in its successful sixth year, Devon Private Dining lets you experience Chef Craig preparing and cooking your choices in the comfort of your own home or holiday let.

Craig was extremely friendly and helpful organising a surprise for my mum's birthday. The food was extremely tasty, and they even set the table and cleaned the kitchen once done. I'd highly recommend for a unique experience or special occasion.
An exceptional experience — the food and service were excellent. The bread board with flavoured butters was delicious, but the star was the fillet: perfectly cooked, succulent and so flavourful. Book them soon, they're going to be very busy.
Outstanding from start to finish. Craig accommodated allergies, dietary requirements and children's meals for a group of 18, and made a lovely cake too. The lunch was the hot topic for the rest of the holiday. If you're considering booking — don't wait.
